Hi,
It depends on the person I think and how motivated they are. Also perhaps how important the thoughts are to them. If it is easy to think all the good thoughts and it means a lot to you to transform these thoughts into action, you will do it. The more determined you are, the more likely you will succeed.

I am not certain that is true for me 'easy to think all the good thoughts' but the Will is positive. If the Judgment, whose function is negative over rules or accommodates its self with most of the consciousness time, then action as good action is less likely to become real.

The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

Would you like to joint a gypsy band? I'm beginning to feel like taking you by the hand.....
Thinking good thoughts is the catalyst for doing good things. If one is SINCERELY thinking good thoughts, actions are a natural sequence of events.
Here's an example of an insincere "good" thought:
"I really feel sorry for that little old lady neighbour [I am such a good person to be thinking about this] She needs somebody to take her shopping & carry in her shopping bags [I am thinking such good thoughts] But I'm really tired from work & I have so much to do [thought breaking down] So someone else will probably do it."
Sighs, puts feet up & turns on the tube.
NOT a good thought from the start. People feel good about themselves when they even consider the needs of someone else, & that's quite enough for their ego. They can rationilze not taking action any way they like, with excuses, but the thought wasn't good to begin with.

Edit: Mudasir>The link has nothing to do with the question. It is SPAM. & no, I'm not reporting you. Perhaps you'd be wise not to do it again? (Someone else might.) A friendly suggestion..

I don't find it hard to transform good thoughts into good actions. It's quite easy, actually.

Yahoo Answers is to blame!
If you leave your virtual life sometimes and plunge into real life, i'm sure you're capable of doing lots of good acts (your frame of mind shows this) .
Just kidding! Good acts are not always physical . Good and thought-provoking questions like yours are good acts, too.

When love is present, good acts are many. Maybe nowadays love needs more attention. Love of people , love of nature , love of knowledge, etc

Very glad i've found you today.

Generally, people are lazy. We all have good intentions and want to conquer the world, day dream about all the wonderful things we want to do, it's just getting the mind and body to cooperate.

...because it is actually easier to do bad actions than good actions. Your own flesh begins to fight against you. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

Because it takes effort to DO something, but thinking it you can do as you drive to work. It also takes more TIME to do something than to think of it.
