Do you believe any member of that duplicitous group of scum would have had the guts to take him up on the offer?

What's the matter Jonny Y? The thought of someone challenging a liberal for questioning their integrity would probably produce a warm wet spot in on their skirt? Integrity is a word that is alien to the liberal vocabulary. Calling someone a name is about as far as a liberal has the guts to go. Any act of manhood produces a squeal of fright.

Your crowd never gave him a chance. The prevaricative lice called him a liar before he ever testified. Do you think we trust Hillary and Obama over a serving military General? I'd never expect a liberal to understand the words duty, honor and country when all they practice is duplicity, shame and treason.

I can't believe that liberals call this scrutiny and questioning. They called the man a liar and a traitor and they're too ignorant to realize exactly what they did.

You got my point. It would be unprofessional for him to invite a member of Congress into the parking lot. By the same token, it was absolutely unprofessional for the Democratic Party candidates to go along with the ad and take part in a disgusting attempt to destroy the integrity of someone who did not deserve it. It was equally disgusting to here them calling the man a liar with nothing to back them up. Liberals cannot understand that baseless accusations, while part and parcel of their daily modus operandi, are also indicative of how low they'll stoop and how absolutely despicable they are.

And you think character assination is acceptable? Also, I don't believe your statement that "you are not a Democrat." As a matter of fact, with absolutely no proof to support my position, I'm calling you a liar. Now I know what it feels like to be a Democrat.

As I catch my breath from laughing until tears come to my eyes, I'd like to say that "your words strike fear into my very soul." It's an absolute lie, but I'll say it anyway.

BRAVO BRAVO !!
This issue will not go away . I hear there's plenty of ads and commercials coming in the next days and weeks . The dems really screwed up on this Moveon ad . They had every chance to disavow themselves and condemn that ad and Moveon , but only a couple did . AND the biggest screw-up was the fact that NONE of the Democratic Presidential Candidates had the decency or integrity to condemn that ad and Moveon .
THIS WILL NOT DO

If General Petraes is such an honorable man of unquestionable integrity he should bear the scrutiny of the Democrats and trust time will bear him out.
I do not think many of the Democrats who questioned Petraeus report would take him on that offer. Most Democrats do not feel that violence is the way to solve a conflict. They generally prefer to use words, as opposed to acting like a neanderthal.

No because when a Democrat offers different opinion than someone else we don't get mad. We also understand and hear the words come out of bush's mouth that we are trying to give Iraqi's the same freedoms that Americans have. So I guess Iraqi's are the only ones that can give a different opinion and not end up getting asked to go out to the parking lot to settle it. In other words sometimes talking is better than fighting. But for those of you that think it is better to fight than discuss maybe they should go down to one of the arm forces recruiting office and sign up for duty.

Oh sure. They'd show up with CNN, CBS and the NY Times in tow and they'd mumble things like, "Everyone uses the wrong words now and then." And, "What do you mean, character assassination?" And, "Sure we support your troops, General. We just think that you, their leader, are a puppet."

Given that they are no longer in elementary school I would imagine they would not stoop to such a petty thing as a playground brawl to resolve thier differences.

It's interesting that the democrats were pretty much calling him a liar even before they knew what he was going to report.
Perhaps they knew his report wouldn't bolster their eagerness to raise the white flag and abandon the people of Iraq who have supported us.
Typical debate tactic - if you don't like the message, attack the messenger.

No, they'd ask a Republican to go out there and deal with it, all the while spreading rumors of what a hate filled warmongerer that republican was.

They would take it to the ACLU for him violating their civil liberties.
They are nothing more than cowards who see themselves losing hold on America and are doing everything they know how to hold their power.
Unfortunately for them ( Fortunately for America) The only way they know how is losing them votes everyday. They are being seen as a traitors and cowards and unAmerican.
