Damned fan is a damned idiot! Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin?!?! Are you kidding me?!?!?!?! Pink Floyd is probably the most original and amazing band ever! Arrgghhh! *rips hair out*

and all those other crappy wannabe-punk emo bands that have trillions of "punk" emo-bopper fans. *vomits*

You like Jimmy Page, but you think Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix are overrated? Weird.
I think the Backstreet Boys are overrated.

sInteresting your screen name is Jimmy Page, but you have little regard for Hendrix and Clapton. There are many bands that may be overrated, but still legendary talent and music wise.

I'd agree on Clapton, the guy isn't as much an innovator as a curator of the Blues, but Nirvana and Hendrix, you're a nut.
AC/DC I'd say is only over rated by non-metal fans, who think it is the best metal band.
Aerosmith, Queen, Tom Petty , The Eagles, & Billy Joel are all over rated in my book (I had the R n R Hall of Fame list up)
Friggin' Tom Petty gets in just for hanging out with legends.
I'd also say that within punk, the socal hardcore bands are over-rated a lot of people act like hardcore is the only punk.

Clapton, The Beatles (worst rhythm section EVER!), GnR, Bon Jovi, Kid Rock (or Kid Drok) and Metallica for the past 18 years. That's just the top of the list... it's a long one!

I don't agree with you on Nirvana being overrated...
AC/DC yeah though, I can't stand it when I see a bunch of preppy chicks wearing a "vintage AC/DC" shirt.
