You have a length (r) and an angle between them (Φ). Choose one of the vectors to be on the x axis (so its y component is 0) and then break hte other one up into (x, y) coordinates by using
x=r*cos(Φ)
y=r*sin(Φ)
Add up the x and y components of the two vectors and you have the (x, y) components of the resultant vector sum.
