I am not pregnant yet but TTC and thinking of names, Im set on the name Bella in some form. My fav has been Bella Rae for a loong time but this Bella Anna just popped into my head. O and Jessica A: Her not being pretty is not an option :)! Thanks for the opinions, keep them coming! ♥

I think Bella Anne would be better because if it's Bella Anna it sounds weird.

Much too difficult to say. To be quite honest, it sounds like a stutter, since you have to literally stop short after Bella before actually saying Anna ... or risk the two running comically together to basically be "Bellanna" (NOT the same as Bella Anna, by the way ... it would pretty much rhyme with banana LOL).

I'd switch them back around, use Annabel as the given name (Annabella is too much A for me -- very singsongy), and call her Bella as a nickname. Then you get both Bella and Anna in there, but in a way that flows much more attractively, AND you get to choose another name you love for the middle. ;) Hope that helps!

I like Bella Anna, but I think Bella Ann would sound better. But I love Bella Rae. They are all really cute names.

A couple others just popped in my head.
Bella Faith
Bella Renae

Hmm... I like Bella because it means Beautiful in spanish... I think Bella Rae is nicer than Bella Anna... go with ur first choice but if u insist on Bella Anna, i think Bella Anna looks better than Bellanna... they might call her Bell-anna if u spell it that way

I think Bella is pretty but I prefer it as a nickname for Isabella. I don't think it goes with Anna and I think the idea of Annabella backwards is just way too cutesy. I do like the name Annabelle though.

i love the name Annabella, but i dont like Bella Anna. if you choose to name her Annabella you could always call her Bella for short. if you are going to go with just Bella as a first name, i dont suggest having the middle name end with an a. i like Bella Claire, Bella Grace, Bella Rae. lots of simple names would work good as middle names for Bella. in my opinion, i would name her Annabella and just use Bella as a nickname. good luck

Hi, I prefer Annabella, maybe because Im spanish speaker and Bella Anna sounds kinda funny for me, and also because it would mean "beautiful Anna", which could be cruel if the girl is not that pretty. Anyway, I like Annabella much more.

EDIT:
Im sorry, I didnt meant to be rude! I hope your baby is healthy and beautiful... but just in case, dont name her Bella Ana ;-)

Love the name Bella , it's such a beautiful name. My daughter is named Bella and middle name is Nicole =]

I don't like Bella Anna becuase they both end with the same sound. I would keep Bella and do something like...

Bella Anne
Bella Amber
Bella Maire
Bella Mae
Bella Elizabeth
Bella Iris
Bella Leanne

Good Luck!

Sounds kinda weird, sorry.. I'm not a big fan of the -ella-bella names anyway.. but Annabella/Annabelle is much better than the other way around if you ask me..
Isabelle Anne would be best (then you can call her Belle or Bella)

Bella Anna is a beautiful name! Not very common, and she can go by Bella or Anna if she chooses to when she gets older!
