internet are expensive in Indonesia (compare to the states and Europe) and the use of it are very limited, a lot of people just use internet for fun. so they may have yahoo address but not many participated in this yahoo answers.

I'm Indonesian too and have been using Yahoo! since 1999. Most Indonesians probably use Yahoo! Indonesia where they can use their own language.

because they're at YA Indonesia site where they freely typing the word that they comfortable with and some of them where basically busy with work or they own real life in real world. specially after the earth quake just happen here.
