I am one and only one ,whereas there are number of friends for me. Each one has different capacity to perceive me, my nature, my love for them etc. How do I make a general statement about "If I were to change my name and appearance...would my friends be able to recognize me by my word alone?"

I have like 3 friends who know me pretty well, and I just have some other friends that I hang out with, but I don't confide in. I think it's important to have a few close friends that you can share your secrets with, I mean, that is what friends are for! Love ya Wendy, Mary, and May! <3

Changing my name was something I did as a kid. I've always been the quiet, unassuming friend in our group. If I lost some weight and dyed my hair, something like that, they'd probably walk past me until I opened my mouth. That could be quite funny to see.

Not well at all it seems, and I include all my friends and family in that circle.
My style has varied over the years and if they want to know me today they have to make contact and learn who I am now.
Some have seen my good days. Some have seen my bad.
Only one person could understand me and that person is no more, and even then I surprised that person on occasions.
Like I have said before to know me you have to read me.

I think the good and truest would.
You can change your looks and your name, but speech patterns, opinions, the voice ... there's so much that makes us unique that I think fooling anyone for long would be impossible.
