On the old show, the one where the ship is trapped in some sort of giant space net. It was like enduring a 10-hour layover in an airport.

On the Next Generation, it was the episode where Data creates an android daughter. That ongoing shtick of him trying to be more human was always tiresome, but that episode just made me want to slap the writers. And then it turns out that she's got faulty wiring or something, and she's going to "die." It was such a manipulative attempt at making people cry from the overwhelming pathos. Who cares!?

There was never a mediocre moment. Even when:

Kirk the quintessentially loveable Space Cowboy come Space $lut got laid with every blonde alien
His pointy-eared side kick Spock got his raised eyebrow in the way of his emotional right brain
Scotty lost his dilithium crystals while narrowly escaping sinking the Enterprise c/w full crew in a time and space anomolie
Bones said it, "Damn it Jim" one too many times
Picard straigthened his vest and trimmed his elocution with memorable phrases such as, "Engage Data"
Data found his laugh and his evil twin
Number One picked up the slack from Kirk and became the new millennia Space $lut
Q played one too many omnipotently inspired jokes and one too many mariachi tunes on the bridge

And the prime directive, "Do Not Interfere" was tested in every single episode.

It was all great and I would gladly apply for a position - any position on any generation of the Enterprise - to find intelligent life somewhere in our galaxy, if only for one nanosecond of trekking through the cosmos.

Why don't you ask what we all enjoyed MOST about any generation of Star Trek I wonder?

like each and every solid action picture, i could anticipate this one to stand up o.k. by ability of itself. curiously it shows the childhood at Starfleet Academy for the individuals who have been to alter into the team on the unique sequence. My very own favourites are the subsequent technology sequence: the wonderful scripts, appearing, and direction. i discover the unique sequence slightly hokey, distinctly the 2d season. I additionally cherished Deep area 9 for its character progression and Voyager too. I never ought to get into company.

I'd go with "The Last Outpost", since it officially introduced The Ferengi. These characters were, to me, the Star Trek equivalent of Jar Jar Binks. :-)

What?!?!?!? I can't can't snark on the hokiness of Voyager or Enterprise???? But DALEK............ I wanna snark on those series!!!!

Okay, enough of the whining... I'd probably say the TNG episode where the Blonde security babe gets zapped by the creature that looks like a giant glob of pine tar....

Next generation I think.....

The episode where a talking crystal was trying to kill them, now I'm pretty open-minded, but that's just ridiculous...
