can pregnancy harm your kidneys?

im asking because i have 2 children, that i had very close together, and since having my 2nd (who will be 1 in november) i have had frequent kidney infections and kidney stones , i am wondering if this from pregnancy?

Pregnancy takes a toll on your whole body even your teeth. If you have been treated for these conditions why didnt you ask your doctor those questions?
