My hard drive seemed to mess up on me. I couldn't use it in my computer anymore.
I removed it and put it into my other computer as the Slave. XP ran the scandisk thing and fixed/deleted/restored many files etc etc.
When I'm at my Computer, the hard drive shows up, but I can't access it. It's corrupted or something.
How can I recover important information on this hard drive? ANY help would be appreciated!!! THanks

Maybe try to get it through safe mode. When you start the computer, press F8 until you are prompted to start in safe mode.
Other than that, I have had a very similar problem, I ran Windows XP in repair mode rather than reinstall, that worked.
Here are some instructions for you to do that.

Depends on what you call corrupt. If you mean that you have bad sectors it it then yes you might be able to recover some bits. However if the file it's self is corrupt then the answer would be no. If the drive has completely failed then the answer would be no. That would have too be done by a specialist company who does it. That can be very expensive and even the there is no guarantee they would get anything off of it. That's when you have to weigh up the cost of retrieval to the data on it.

Here's some info that may be of help:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/collection/collid,1295-order,1-c,downloads/files.html
If your files are important enough to spend a thousand dollars or more recovering, you could try a data recovery service. But they may not be able to help much since you've already run disk tools on it. If you're going to send a failed drive for recovery, you shouldn't do anything at all to it - anything you do reduces the chances they'll be able to recover it.
The good news is if they can't recover it, it only costs you a hundred bucks or so. If they can, it starts at about $1000 and goes up to $5000 or more depending on how big the drive is and how fast you need your files back.

So....if I read this correctly, you ran scandisk on the NEW XP hard drive?
Or you ran scandisk on the corrupt hard drive? If you set the corrupt hard drive as a Slave on your other computer and then ran scandisk, it would be scanning your master drive, NOT your corrupt drive. I'm lost as to which one you ran scandisk on.
IF the corrupt drive is a slave now, can't you go to My Computer (since you said it shows up) and click onto the slave drive to see whats in it? What do you mean you can't access it.....it shows up, you said.

Download & install Recover My Files and run a Fast Format Recover on the drive. If that doesn't work then run a Complete Format Recover.
If the Master File Table still exists on the drive then you will get all of your files back with full file & folder names intact.

Did you try to access it thru the command prompt?
Exactly what happens when you try to view the files on it?
