Did you watch the speech?
I skipped it. (I'm in a fairly good mood too.) :)
Are people liking it?

Any golden nuggets?
Anything maybe you didn't expect that now maybe doesn't seem so bad?

If you disagree(d) with him, do you feel he is listening to you and the rest of America a little better?

Does he have the magic faith? The magic confidence that will save us in time?

Maybe he Sounded good? You liked his tone? He sounded a little more sensibly-spoken? Or that he really worked on getting himself to sound mature, sensible tone.. like I saw him do at least once or twice(around March 2005) ?

He may not be on page with immigration, but he is on Iraq. Anyone who thinks we should not be aggressive in our fight against Islam nut cases is living in a world that doesn't exist. We have no choice but to defeat the crazy's.

This has been coming for 30 to 50 years. Ya think we can control it in a few years? The biggest mistake we made was to go in too timidly.

More of the same from G.W. Very clear that he will do anything to leave this failed war policy for the next president to clean up.. it will not be on his watch. I think Nixon did the same with Vietnam.

Are liberals CONSTANTLY pessimistic? Is this a genetic defect passed down from Jimmy Carter's disastrous four years in power?

The Democratic response was fantastic. Bush is a moron. God save our country. It will take decades to recoup all our loses.

Sounds to me you had your mind made up before he said anything. What was that study released that said liberals had "flexible" minds. Without a doubt a liberal study.

Yes they are. he has fueled them up with all kinds of nonsense sayings:
It's just like Korea!
The Iraqis want our continued permanent present to guard AGAINST INSTABILITY.
and more claims of progress that don't hold up.
