What's on your kitchen window sill at the moment?
I have an ashtray(naughty smoker), parsley and 2 cactus's.

I was going to clean my window sill off today and now you have reminded me to do it! O.K. here goes....... one red glass carnal bird, a plant in some water, a tin cup with some toothpicks in it, a metal cannon that is a pencil sharpener, a tiny rock that says........faith ( I had to get up and look) a blue stone and a tiny seashell. One red tomato that I picked today, and a pair of small scissors. whewwww!!!!

The sill is OK ~ but make sure the plant doesn't touch the glass, if you get a cold night it can come through and discolour the leaves ~ on warm sunny days you could put the plants outside if you have room ~ when growing, don't foget to break off the small "branches" which grow between the stem and a developed branch so the stem grows straight, you will need between seven and nine branches then pinch out the top of the plant to stop it growing ~ and the fruit will develope

Aloe vera plant. Packet of embassy. Blue clipper lighter. And a small blue ashtray. All arranged very neatly :0)

A statue of the Madonna and Christ Child
A tall leafy plant -- I do not know the name, but it is really pretty.
An African violet with purple flowers
A small spoon rest that was my Gram's and has her name on it -- a tacky tourist thing I bought her when I was a kid that she kept and now I keep my rings in it when I bake.
A small pot of tea palms I am attempting to save -- my husband teases me and says that our kitchen window is my plant hospital.
And last but not least a small clay pinch pot my youngest son made me.

I have a box of Bold tablets, a vase, the washing up liquid and a half used roll of kitchen towels on a chrome stand.

Two cups, a bottle of anti-bacterial spray, an old nail brush and an empty rice packet that no-one could be a*Sed to put in the bin until now!
