Prove you are willing to work harder. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.

Go to the coach and ask him what's up. Why am i being benched b/c u feel that you are the better player. Also ask, why u were replaced and what u need to do to get it back. The coaches will respect you for it. Also ask the coaches if you can watch the practice film to see what you are doing wrong. Also study the db you will be facing find his weakness and exploit it. You will be surprised how much u can improve with watching film of your practice. If your coaches are good the will sit with u and point it out.

OK...First of all, you're contradicting yourself in saying you're better but the other guy is taller and faster...The coaches obviously think he's better, because he is starting and you're not...If you are a WR, which I will assume since you mentioned catching, you should work on running faster(sprints, etc)...That is obviously what they see in the other guy if what you say is true...You can't do anything about your height...

Talk to that punter in Colorado about beating out the competition. He'll give you great advice (wait, he's in prison).

Just work hard in practice, thats all you can do.

Or...meet the other guy in the parking lot with a crow bar.

Just practice all out, doun't screw up, and step up for everything. What ever uoi do don't complain and don't suck up. I was in a similar situation. (TE)
