11+8q=3q-19 --> Write the problem.
11+5q=-19 --> Subtract 3q on both sides of the equation.
5q=-30 --> Subtract 11 on both sides of the equation.
q=-6 Divide 5 on both sides of the equation.

So the answer is q=-6.
