Hello everyone.
I'm a soldier in the U.S. Army and have been for 3 and 1/2 yrs.
I re-enlisted for 5 more years while in Afghanistan and I'll end up with 8 total yrs. if I
don't re-up again. Anyways I wanted to tell you all the truth about
these so called troop reductions that are being talked about. Ever
wonder why the Government always says we are withdrawin so many
thousands of troops but somehow the troop level stays the same? It's
because they are lying to you and also telling you the truth at the
same time! Every time they say they are pulling out oh 5000 troops,
they do. What they don't put on the front page is that another 5000
troops are moving in to take their place. It's all part of the force
rotation. Don't let them fool you! If you truly want troop reductions
the look not only at how many troops are coming home, but how many are
leaving home as well. I and my unit are scheduled to go to Iraq later
this year...to replace those that are coming home which are part of the
current troop "reductions". Help us. WE ARE DYING FOR YOU!

fantastic if no longer something could be attributed to something different than the sitting President than the respond is AN EMPHATIC NO! while the troops come domicile next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, this is going to be below Obama's Presidency, and the reality that the economic gadget is suffering would be his fault. Or are you prepared to concede that judgements made by way of different administrations (like the subprime policies set below the Clinton administration) might attain into the subsequent administration?

The president stated that troop levels would be reduced, particularly in the summer. That means (for all those uninformed who say, "and some will be going back") that we will NOT be staying at the same levels or simply rotating deployments. It DOES mean that we can begin drawing down numbers thanks to the PROGRESS and the efforts of General Petraeus, the coalition forces, and the Iraqi people.
So simple, even a liberal should be able to understand it.

Actually, by summer 2008, the troop levels will be at pre-surge level again. He is doing a smart, educated lowering of troops, to see how the region responds. It's a good idea. Don't listen to these democrats, who keep complaining that he's sending more troops, and are complaining again now that he's taking some out. They're just hypocrites.
