Every one has short comings. I review how I contributed to the problem and resolve to avoid the same situation in the future. To keep that resolve I have to remember the incident. I do not place full blame on anyone-it takes two to tango.

Confession is good for the soul.
What have you done to me lately?
It really doesn't matter.
Just blame it on me, and; I'll blame it on me, and we can all move on.
So what are you blaming on me?
It helps to know so that way I can know that this is the starting point.
And we do not have shortcomings. We have limitations, whether self imposed or otherwise imposed,and; sometimes those limitations get in our way. If we are lucky those limitations are not insurmountable. If we are not lucky then there is no reconciliation and therefore nothing to forgive and only something to forget.
In short, I hold nothing so tightly that I can not let go of it. If I did than that chainsaw would have cut off all my fingers on one hand.

I try not to, but in order to completely forgive and move on, that person either has to NOT do it again, or I have to accept the fact that they do it--whatever it is........
