Are there any MLB teams looking to move? We can use one here.

Yeah, we all know that the Phillies have live bodies that take the mound, and are loosely called pitchers who gave up 12 runs in the latest stinkburger that coincidentally, wasn't played in Colorado.

But why don't we hear about the nights that the hitters take off. I mean 30 at bats and only 4 hits? Team Valium will have to be broken up shortly as Ryan and Chase get their due cash. And to think, this team is going to be worse in the next two seasons. But can anyone honestly believe that this "team" has what it takes to even contend for the Wild Card gimmick? Does Monty and Co. actually believe that this collection of swans can get any real knowledgable baseball fan excited?

Actually I'm an Athletics fan and I just LOOOOVE bashing the Philthies. Yeah, I know, they are statistically 5-1/2 games worse that the Pinstriped Pretenders but I ain't worried, The A's are a baseball organization first, an investment second.

I disagree.

To start off, us Phillie fans couldn't care less about a ring. We simply love to watch our team play, and we have sell out games even when we're going through heavy losing streaks, unlike the A's. In fact, the whole state seems to not care about the A's anymore!

LOOSELY called pitchers? Besides Eaton and Durbin, our rotation could be considered pretty Top-Notch if you ask me! We have Kyle Kendrick, Cole Hamels, and veteran Jamie Moyer. And before you say Jamie's inconsistent, who do you think taught the young pitchers what the know?

Every team has games where they won't get many hits, and I'm positive you're team has had games that were worse. And at least our players are GETTING their due cash, unlike the A's, who gave up almost half of their team this season instead. And yeah, we definatly do have what it takes for the Wild Card. We have the top offense in the NL, which includes one of the best HR hitters in the NL, consistent outfielders (Rowand, Burrell, Victorino, Werth.), Chris Coste, and a possible MVP winner in J Roll! The only position we have a need in is 3rd base.

And yes, in fact, I believe a knowledgeable baseball fan would be interested in a team that turned 2 TRIPLE plays this season.

And look at your pitching compared to ours! We have Cole Hamels, who is a future Cy Young winner! We have Brett Myers, who has been doing one helluva job as a closer, and will probably start again next season. We have Jamie Moyer, who usually can fool hitters to the point where even he can stay in for 7-8 innings, even in his early-mid 40s!

The only things the Phils need are a better 3rdbaseman and a better relief squad.

Apparently, a knowledgeable baseball fan, you are not.

I TOO think "what would we have" if, in 1954 the Phillies would have moved to KC instead of the A's,
Amazing , aren';t they? One night, JRo, Chase, Pat and Ryan put on Home Run Derby, and the next day, their pitcher-impersonators earn the 3.5 million dollar contract with a 5.45 ERA.
As long as their pitching staff qualifies for federal disaster aid, you don't have to worry about needing Playoff tickets in Philadelphia.
If the DO get into the playoffs,I'm stocking up on cheap red wine and valium.
Then, two weeks later we can watch the "76ers.

ahahaha!!! finally someone i can agree with. I had enough with all these philie fan's asking "are the philies going to make the playoff's" the answer is no and thank god the met's will take all philies fan's out of their missory this weekend with a payback sweep. Then we wont have anymore question's about the philies winning the wild card.
LETS GO METS AND A"s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
