Sure numerous times on both accounts. Oh when relatives come in wanting a bed to sleep in I would accomodate them( not that i enjoyed it). Lets just say I grinned and bared it when they were here. That's happened a lot of times. I guess I bend more that I choose my ground.. I dont like to upset the cart or turn the boat over. If I turn it over its usuall y with the old man. He can turn my boat upside down sometimes..Swim or drown..LOL

I have to make that kind of choice all the time; just yesterday, someone tried to get me to work late at a volunteer thing that I was doing and I just point blank told them to come back some other time because I was scheduled to leave at a certain time and I was leaving at the scheduled time because I had other things to do. Give people an inch and they want a mile.

We all have and do,regularly. I shall cite the most recent. My mother-in-law wished to visit to spend time with my children who unfortunately are also her grandkids. I gracefully deferred to her wishes, spending the entire visit locked in the attic where I had an old cot and had stocked up canned goods you don't need to warm up. I thought it was very graceful of me to stay out of her way.

Yes my boyfriend and I have his friend as a room mate at the moment to help pay rent with us, he doesnt talk to us and doesnt clean up after himself. I tried to get him to clean up, standing up for everyone in the house( including my sister) but my bf has said we have lived together for a while, and while this situation has come to a head, he asked me to not worry bout anything as we wont be living with the roomie for much longer, then never again.
