I went to google and asked for "2006: year in review" and it brought up that website. There are a lot of links where you can search for people in the news and it will give you the names of politic figures as well as actors or entertainers who were in the news. You can also search by natural disasters (like Katrina), by who died that year etc. It has a lot of great information.
