Be honest....because my husband thinks I'm crazy because he tells me he is going to get gas, (gas station is less than 5 mins away) and I don't hear from him for over 2 hours. He went to the library, but I thought he was dead. Am I crazy?

No, No, No....I wasn't asking if my husband is cheating on me. He really did go to the library. The point is I was worried that he was in a car wreck or something. All I wanted to know is am I crazy for getting worried.....geeze people!

Do people honestly think I'm too stupid to call his cell phone? His cell phone was here on the charger. If he had it, I would have called it...duh.
You'd have to know my husband to understand how I know he wasn't cheating. Trust me, he was at the library. That isn't the point. My question had nothing to do with me not trusting him, and I was worried. He is one of those people that just does things on a whim. If I said "hey, i'm going to check the mail" and didn't come back for two hours. He'd assume I decided to go somewhere. I'm just trying to prove to him that normal people get worried when people do something like that.

Well you are very normal for worrying. But how do you know he isn't cheating? I mean two hours is along time to be at the library with out even calling to let you know. If this happens alot I would start finding some things out. Good luck

No ! How do you know for sure that he went to the libary too?? In a marriage it is not normal for a spouse to say there going to the gas station and then be gone for 2 hrs without calling home and letting the other one know were they are at !!! Trust me, thats not a normal thing in a marraige !! If you let him by with that , then it will get worse most likely!! Next time he'll say he is going to the store and be gone 3-4 hrs !!! you better nip it in the bud now !!! so to speak !! stop it ! Don't allow him to do it again !! when you care enough about your spouse you will let them know were your at So they won't be worried about you !! Wjy would he leave you worried like that?? Would you do that to him?? I don't think so, cause you know he'd be worried,right !! so why did he do it?? Thats what you need to find out !!! and watch for it to happen again !!!

I feel your pain, my husband is the same way.
We have been together for over 20 yrs and here is how I handle it.
My husband is a friendly person and knows everybody. He runs into people while running errands and gets distracted.
He makes plans with others at the spur of the moment.
He is so spontaneous sometimes that he forgets the plans he already has with the family.
Long ago I decided to quit worrying.
As long as he is not missing for 24 hours.
I refuse to worry, it only hurts me.
He will not change, and believe me I have tried all sorts of things.

Yes, I would be worried. Get the man a cell phone if he doesn't already have one. It takes just a few seconds to call and let you know that he's going to the library!

Had a b/f that did the exact same thing. He was creeping like a there was no tomorrow. Get him a cell phone with traceable GPS built in. They make these so that you can go online and find out where the user is. If you confront him , he will probably lie - get proof, then get a lawyer.

To be honest with you, I don't think he went to the library. I think he is cheating on you. He should know that if he goes out to put gas in his car and you don't hear from him in two hours, that you are going to think something happened to you. I'm sorry girl, but I think he is screwing someone else during those two hours.

Yes, I would be upset. There are phones at the library! Now, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that he's having an affair, the library is an enjoyable place!

I would be extremely worried. Is there a reason that he cannot tell you that he is going to the "library" or call you from there?
You are not crazy...and he needs to be a little more considerate.

If he doesnt do it every time I wouldn't worry about it. Guys dont think like us. Like the last time you went to the store and realized you wanted to pick up a movie and stopped at the video store. Guys dont notice. However if this is a trend I would worry. A lot

Does he usually go to the library? Why did he have to go to the library? Why couldnt he call you to let you know? Does he do this all the time (weekly)? If so, he is cheating.
