Cancer and Libra

It is no wonder you fell for a Libra. Libras are charming and completely irresistible. They are so refined, sophisticated (in a hip kind of way), schooled in social graces, educated, polished, and easy on the eyes. What's not to love? There isn't a rough edge on them.

The problem is that Libras interact with the world all the time. As a quiet Cancer you are private, reserved and family-oriented. When your Libra suggests you attend a mid-week cocktail party, you may be haunted by thoughts of the unpaid bills on your desk, the dust balls under the bed, or the report you have due on Monday. If you have children, you won't want to leave them either. (Cancers never like leaving their kids with baby-sitters.) Libras need to play and network, though. Ordering in or eating out nearly every night is Libra's other favorite thing to do, but you think take-out is expensive and not as good as what you can make. Most importantly, you have an image of what home and regular family life should be, and your vision isn't complete without aromas drifting out from the kitchen. "Ugh!" they say, "who wants to cook?" Your Libra may protest that if you spent less time in the kitchen you'd have time to do more things with him or her. And so it goes. Libras aren't good planners for the future, and with their Sun at cross-angles to yours, you are liable to disagree with their preparations anyway. Just try to be tolerant when you watch your Libra pack for vacation!

Not an easy mix, but any match can work if you want it to badly enough. If you love a Libra, give this relationship all you've got, and try to deal as best you can with the down sides.

Well, I am a Cancer & I loved a Libra man once, and I'll never do it again! (because I found a lovely Cancer man!) But seriously, just going by sun signs no, not really, just remember that there is more to a person than their sun sign, there are so many other aspects in the chart so maybe the Cancer and the Libra may be compatible depending on other planets and signs in their respective chart.
Hope this helps

Unfortuately not. My ex-best friend (we were buds for 5 years and now barely stand each other) was a Libra and I'm a Cancer. I did a lot of astrological research after we stopped getting along and it turns out this (I'll put it in total easy format for ya!):

Libra trait: Self-concious
Cancer trait: Honest, sensitive
Verdict: Not only will Cancer HATE having fashion police on their tail 24/7, but they'll take it to heart-- AND make judgments right back. You say you're not too into the shoe colour, and they (think) that you're a superfiscal brat who cares about the outside more than the inside. Cancer will tell you if they don't like somthing about your outfit if they don't like it, plainly enough, and the Libra (knowing well that Cancer usually doesnt notice things about appearance) will take it to heart and run to the mirror. Yikes, crazy cycle.

Libra Trait: Indesicive
Cancer Triat: Clingy
Verdict: One sentance says it all: Libra refuses to make a commitment, even to call you her best friend. (And FYI, Cancer WILL NOT get over it.)

AND FINALLY....

Libra Trait: Flirty
Cancer Trait: Shy
Verdict: Even though a loyal friend, Libra might get a rep as a boy-stealer in a friendship. In a relationship, Cancer will say ix-nay on the PDA, but not Libra. Eek.

CANCER- LIBRA : It’s difficult for faithful Libra to deal with changeable temperament of Cancer. Cancer feels worried and not so self-confident beside an affectionate Libra. Libra tries to avoid troubles. If Cancer is offended somehow, he’ll be hard to get along with. When Libra starts looking for some romance outside their liaison, the relationship is finished. The infatuation is possible, but a marriage is a risky one.

Okay, I mean, you have to follow your heart and not astrology, but I'm a Libra girl who dated a Cancer man. Big no!!!!! Cancers are emotional (water sign). They feel and they nurture. They can be very caring, but they take everything quite personally and get upset quite easily. Libras are intellectual (air sign). They think and ponder. While intelligent and charming, they like to flirt and be social. This upsets the Cancer, who tends to like to stay at home and watch movies. Cancer will think the Libra is being unfaithful. Libra will think the Cancer is being controlling. Lots of fights and anger. Definitely was the case for me. So yeah, I'd avoid this. But you never know, it could work.

Probably not...
Even though one of my best friends is a libra (she's awesome!!) I usually don't get along with libras, on a personal level. Better to keep it light and easy.

My favorite girlfriend was a Libra and I'm a cancer.. Just let me say if you work at it, and it succeeds, it is worth it.

Not in a relationship, they are better off being friends.
