I have 2 boys and both my pregnancies i had to have c-sections. My 1st was an emergency i was put to sleep and had to go in by myself. My second was a need to get him out now and i got to be awake for that one, and my husband was in there with me. im not pregnant yet, but willl be trying in march and was just wondering if they would let me try a natural delivery, as i feel that i really missed out on something so special and important. has anyone got to have a vbac after 2 previous c-section?? thanks for your answeres

I had 2 c-sections. With the first, I wasn't put to sleep, but I felt like I was. I was so tired and don't remember a whole lot. My second was much better, I was not tired and it was just a better experience. I knew I didn't want to have a vbac and my Ob's policy didn't allow it anyway. So, it probably depends on your Ob's and the hospital's policy. I know some will not do a vbac at all due to the increased risk of the uterus rupturing. I would rather play it safe and have another c-section, but talk to your doctor about it.

not in Australia, no. We have a "2 C's, always C's" policy. You'd be considered too risky for a vbac cos your uterine muscles are left relatively weak and scarred from previous c-sec's and trying to deliver this way risks rupture and haemorrhaging. I think any good O+G doctor would not let you go through this, i'm sorry

It just depends on how they did the previous c sections. Meaning, where your scars are. If they are both low, next to your bikini line, then possible yes. But, it depends on your doctor too. Some doctors are more willing to try than others. I've had a vaginal and a csection and I am probably going to have another csection. I dont want to chance anything.

It depends on the type of incision from your previous c-sections. If they are transverse incisions, the risk for a vba2c is not "huge" as someone said. Talk to your ob and if it's important to you, make sure it's important to your health care provider. And if it's not... find one who supports you!

Yes its possible granted that everything through out the pregnancy goes well and they feel you and the baby can handle it. My mom had my younger brother and myself c-section but then had my little sister and other little brother vaginally.

YOUR DOCTOR MIGHT LET YOU TRY IF YOUR BODY IS STABLE AND STRONG ENOUGH. ONE CONCERN IS YOUR UTERUS ERUPTING DURING LABOR OR DELIVERY.
