This is the sentece. I have been stuck with this sentence for a while. I need to place punctuation into this sentence. But I cannot find a way. The rule is that any punctuation can go in, except for period. if you find it, thank you in advance!!!

Punctuation-clever, D is actual because of the fact the completed-end is interior the citation marks. A demands citation marks. B is incorrect because of the fact the 1st citation marks have been placed in the previous 'mentioned'. Marge did no longer say 'mentioned The practice is merely leaving' . C is incorrect because of the fact the completed-end is outdoors the citation marks. On a observe of everyday grammar even with the shown fact that, punctuation aside, 'The' ought to (for my area) no longer be written with a capital letter in any respect in those sentences because it quite is a ingredient of the completed sentence describing Marge asserting that the practice is very practically to depart.

Yes, it's a bit tricky! You have to break a few 'rules' here, but I'm an English teacher, so why not. Here goes:
That that is, is that that is not; is that not so?
It's a bit too philosophical for me as far as the deeper meaning, but I think you'll find that the punctuation is OK.

make sure that you have a question mark at the end because ' is that not so?' is an interrogative phrase.

"That that is, is; that that is not, is not: is that not so?"
I have taken the liberty of presuming that you've left an "is not" out.
