Go to McAfee and search for an uninstaller. You can also put in the disc that came with the laptop and reinstall McAfee. After it's done go into add/remove panel to remove it. I didn't have any problems removing it from my Toshiba laptop, it's the first thing i did.

If its not in the Add/Remove programs list, go to..
"C:/Program Files/Mcafee" and look for any icon that resembles the uninstaller.

Not the best idea, but if you just wanna get rid of it quickly, delete everything in the same directory, and then run a registry cleaner to remove any leftovers and avoid conflicts.
