I am 5 weeks pregnant with my second child. With my first pregnancy, my boobs hurt SO bad from the moment I found out. (and earlier, in fact) I had some soreness last week, but I really don't feel any pain now. I breastfed my 2 year old daughter for 15 months. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this, especially after breastfeeding. I don't want to worry that something my be wrong...
Thank you!

I never had sore boobs with my 2 boys and this pregnancy(currently 36.5 weeks)they ached so bad!
I breastfed both my boys for 12 months each too.
I would be feeling grateful if you don't get them!

My boobs quit hurting really quickly, and I worried about the same thing. I based my experiences off my mom's and I was totally stupid to do that. I expected to have an easy time with pregnancy because she did...she only had the minor things like breast tenderness and fatigue. I ended up with full-blown morning sickness, very severe, and because it didn't come on until 6 weeks I worried all that time that there was something wrong. (Of course I kicked myself later and wished I was still feeling good!) My point is that every pregnancy is different, even for the same mother. Don't worry unless your doctor tells you to. Chances are your body has a been-there-done-that attitude and is handling the hormones better this time around. Sometimes breast pain can also be the result of expanding breast tissue, in your body's preparation for breast feeding. It's likely your breasts are larger than they were before your first pregnancy anyway, and since you breast fed for so long you're already better equipped to take on the task a second time. Best of luck and congratulations.

When I was pregnant with my son I had all the morning sickness and nausea and sore boobs the whole time. I found out when I was about two weeks pregnant with my daughter and I had none of the symptoms like I did the first time. I would have a tendency to believe that if your pregnancies are different as night and day that maybe or probably you are having the opposite sex child than the one you already have! Congratulations, don't worry!!

if your boobs get that painful you cant stand it than theres something to worry about...
Its normal for some women to get NO symptoms during there pregnancy, im 24wks preg and still no symptoms, just a big belly lol everyones different and everyones bodies also handle things differently, being a first second or third pregnancy....
and as u said 5 weeks? it may be too early yet anyway, just wait another week or two im sure those symptoms (sore boobs) will be kicking in.

Well I'm 11 weeks with my 2nd and mine just started hurting today, really really bad. It's normal for symnptoms to be different. I nursed my now 2 year old daughter for 13 months though, so maybe it does have something to do with that. I also didn't get sick until 7 weeks, and with my first I was sick at 5 weeks.

I had the same worry. My boobs hurt really bad with the first one. Now they dont hurt at all, if they do on occasion, its because my bra is uncomfortable.

I think your hormones have worked the breast tissue out so you dont get the same sensation the second time around.

I wouldnt worry...I had some twinges around 8-10 weeks with my second. Maybe yours will come around then too.

Congrats and good luck

Every pregnancy is different. I have three children all of which I breast fed and I experienced different symptoms with each. I don't think my breasts got tender with my third until around 8 weeks. Try not to compare pregnancies because it can lead to worry. Hope I was helpful.

Nothing is wrong. Every pregnancy is different, and some women don't get pain in the breasts until the 8th month (my first pregnancy) and some, like your first pregnancy, experience pain pretty much the whole pregnancy. Enjoy the lack of pain while you can!!
