How do you make a difference in the world?

I try to do my part. And, it may seem small, but I figure that If I cannot change the world, at I can make a difference in the lives of the people I come in contact with.

I practice random acts of kindness. It never fails to make me feel good. Even if some people around me are angry.

I believe a good way to make a difference in the world is to free ourselves of our need to judge others in a negative light. This is the work of our ego and judging others prevents us from seeing the good in them. There is no value in judging others poorly. As we see others, we also see ourselves.

Love can make a difference. However, you can only give away love to others if you have it within yourself. So, you must cultivate love for yourself first. Take the example of an orange. Squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out. Why?Because that is what is inside. When humans are squeezed, what comes out of them is what they harbor inside of themselves. Harbor love, acceptance, joy, confidence, peace and harmony towards yourself so that you can radiate it towards others.

I always try to keep in mind that to the world I am may be one person, but to one person I may be the world.

This is perhaps the most influential job one can take to influence society, i mean if there was no military, there would be no society. This is why empires and country's that are successful have the greatest military forces of there time.

Everything we do makes an impact on the world. At first the impact is small, but over time it explodes and ripples outwardly through the rest of the universe. By pausing to answer this question, my life has begun to take another path than it would if I had not stopped to answer this question. Everything I do from now on will branch off of this moment.

I am a medical assistant, and I treat every single patient with respect, no matter what their race, age or status. I think this makes a difference in healthcare, where I see so many nurses who think they are better than anyone.
