She is 5 weeks pregnant, and today the doctor said that the past week the baby didn't develop, still the same statistics as before. He said to wait till next week to see what happens. But I think is to early to know the development of a fetus (and is not yet a fetus).

That doesn't mean that something is going wrong right??? Can everything be fine, is it normal??? What can prevent it??? After a natural abortion can something bad happen to my girlfriend???

PLEASE I'm so scared, worried and I want to have a baby, Does anyone knows about this or have any experience???

At 5 weeks the only thing visible is the gesttaional sac. You can't see the baby until 6 weeks.

Whoa, calm down. I can't believe your doctor would say something like that. Just by regular exam, there's no way for him/her to say that the baby hasn't developed. If you're only 5 weeks pregnant, you practically JUST found out you were pregnant. How can he/she say it didn't develop this week? Either way, babies can develop differently. Some develop a little quicker and some develop a little slower. That's why there's weight and height difference between babies. That's why some babies are born a few weeks early and are fine but others born at the exact same time may need a little help breathing. I'm sure everything is fine. I would advise you to get a new doctor.... soon.

**You've already asked this question.... You got plenty of good answers there. Trust me. Everything is fine unless you aren't including some information. Your doc sounds like a nutjob!

Calm down.

The baby doesnt develop that quick in the early stages. I had a scan at 7 weeks and all they could tell me was that there was a sac and a 2cm blob that has a heart beat of 143 beats per minute.

If you girlfriend has a natural abortion some things can go wrong like infection but she will know when she has one and if she gets to a hospital or doctor asap then they can determine if she needs dilate and cuttage, but she can still be healthy enough to have other children.

Well, yes people have experienced this. My sister lost a pregnancy because her 'fetus' I prefer baby, didn't develop past 6 weeks. These things happen, she might not lose her baby, she may go on and have a normal pregnancy, but in the first three months you always have that chance of losing a pregnancy. If she does lose it, I'm sure she will have another. Life is very hard sometimes, it is hard to accept things, no matter how much we want them.
I hope everything is fine for your sakes. Good luck.

My bestfriend went by using this . She ended up certainly miscarrying . i'm sorry . They waited 2 weeks to work out if any advancements replaced , the sac had grown ,however the newborn did no longer . She refused to have a d and c /abortion . The healthcare expert instructed her that it would desire to no longer end person-friendly , yet she would not have faith in abortion . yet another 2 weeks and he or she certainly began to bleed and miscarry .She then enable them to accomplish a d and c . The docs have been livid together with her that she made them wait , yet mentally it grew to become into greater ideal for her . God Bless you and your women human beings . I in no way heard that a organic abortion would desire to reason Gonorrhea , this got here promptly from a docs mouth ? If the newborn isn'y formed suitable the physique ninety% of the time will reject it . Sorry and God Bless .

I am sorry to hear of the anxiety you are experiencing not knowing whether your unborn baby is okay or not. The doctor said wait a week, and then he would be able to determine. At this stage, they are still so tiny - perhaps your unborn will have a growth spurt this week, who knows. Try your very hardest to think of everything and anything else until this week is over and you know. And place it in God's hands in prayer. Praying your baby too.

First of all, I know how worrisome any news that does not sound positive can be. Wait until next week before you start to worry. The human body is a strange and mysterious thing.

never feel pressured to stay with a specific doctor.........especially if your not comfortable with things they say.........In my last pregnancy I changed 3 OBGYN's, and found one I really liked, who was patient, thorough and answered all my questions.

Your baby is still so tiny that even if it grew just a little it would be hard to tell. I suggest, especially if this is your first baby, that you both find a really good, thorough book on all the stages of pregnancy. my husband and I did and it helped us to understand a lot.

Congratulations!

You've asked this question four times already!!! Relax and wait until next week for the ultrasound. There's really nothing more we can tell you to relax your nerves. All you can do is wait it out.

Good Luck
