I personally think that depends on your age. I stopped having "best friends" when I got out of college. Now I have good friends, friends, and casual acquaintances. I have two good friends, several friends, and a lot of casual acquaintances. I don't think anyone earns the title of "best friend" after your mid 20s IMO.

A good friend will bail you out of jail. A best friend will be in the cell with you saying, "Boy, we really messed up this time." A good friend will help you move. A best friend will help you move the body.

a best friend is someone you can tell anthing to and not be judged or not be scared of being judged. They tell you thier deepest secrets and they talk to you when oyu are sad. Nothing is to personal and everything is worth sharin. A good friend is near but a best friend is always next to you.

Good friend is friends who treats you good and sometimes will hang out with you. They help you in homework or other things. Like the girl sitting behind you, or the guy sitting next to you. But you don't hang around with them.
Best friends are friends whom you share your secrets with and hang around shopping mall and talk about anything in common.
