Try seeing if someone in your neighborhood needs there dog walked, or if a friend of your parents has a child that needs like after school babysitting. I remember one summer I was I think 13 or 14 I babysat my next door neighbor for about 6 hours a day and as much as I did not like giving up my summer days, I made about 100 a week. Which at the time was alot. But thats alot more then can be expected in babysitting, but if you find someone kind you could make a nice chunk of change. I dont blame you for not wanting to work fast food! I would never want to either. Most i've known to work at like mcdonalds completly hated it and where treated like crap. But they will hire you at 15 if your desprate haha.

Babysitting: Go to West U, Bellaire, Memorial and River Oaks for the best rates
Lawnmowing: It better be a friend because illegals are cheap
Sell cookies and home made stuff. People don't care if it is a charity. You can make a ton.

find some of the smaller businesses to work for. like, Hungry's Cafe, they're a small business and i'm sure they'd let you work for them. so basically, besides telling you to babysit and mow lawns (like everyone else is telling you), then i'd highly suggest going for small businesses. but PLEASE, be careful because the small businesses aren't in all that great parts of town, and there's been a lotta crime lately in houston.

Try going to small local business and ask if the need any help. They are much more likely to hire you than large ones.
Also ask neighbors if they have any work you can do.
