That seems a little light to me. What do you think?

Not only is that not punishment enough. What are they going to do about the 2005 Championship that is now in question? Philly fans have to wonder if this was going on then, fricking Superbowl. If anyone remembers that Viks at Giants game back about 2000 or so, where the Viks with their top rated O- line and a hot Daunte got creamed 40 something to 3 or something like that by a over-rated NY Giants team. Theres another example of what happens when one team unethically reads the other teams signs. Cheating seems to be a part of all sports at all levels so what can ya do.

I think that game should be forfeited, no doubt about it. The Patriots are a rogue team, always cheat on and off the field, get everyone pregnant, and are easily the dirtiest team in the league. Yet the league so far for some reason have made them legitimate. Belichick a genius my a**, the guy cheats to win. What a great team, NFL.

Goodell is such a hypocrite. What Bilicheck has been proven to do (cheating) compromises the integrity of Football, and he gets away with a meaningless fine(which the team will probably pay anyway) and the loss of some picks. Meanwhile, guys in his league haven't been found guilty in the court of law of anything, yet he serves suspensions like their going out of style. The New England organization doesn't care about fines, only championships(why else would you bring in play when I wanna play Moss) This wasn't harsh enough, because those willing to cheat know that if they can get away with it they will have playoff berths, which will give them contract extentions, which will help pay off meaningless fines.

Yeah, and the team got fined 250k. They also lost first round draft pick if they make it to the playoffs, and second and third picks if they don't. They got lucky.

thats not too bad considering they were found guilty of cheating just this one game. when the league looks further back and sees past games where the pats cheated the penalty will be much much more severe

Yeah, it's light. He should have been suspended and that game forfeited. At least they lose their first round draft pick next year.

No...Thats about right...Its a stupid little thing in coaching called scouting...All coaches do it, if they want to win against their opponent...If Belichick is the only one to get fined, the NFL can go to hell...
