Ok, now this beats all. There are butterfly bushes where I work. A small group of people renting from us complained that the bushes were attracting butterflies (duh!) and that the butterflies were pooping on their cars and they wanted the bushes removed. Does anyone out there know anything about butterflies and if they poop enough to notice? This is so ridiculous that it's comical! I say replace the bushes with mulberry trees!

I don't know about butterflies, but I do know that caterpillars poop up a storm. Just just raised one into a beautiful black swallow tail and I had to empty the poop out of it's cage 3 times a day until he pupated. Anyhow, that is beside the point with the exception that, if butterfly poop is like caterpillar poop then it is just tiny pellets that don't contain any moisture and would just roll off. Those people are ding dongs and are just looking for something to complain about.

I would have to agree with you... Put in a Mulberry tree and then the butterfly bushes won't be so bad after all!!

It is not from butterflies; perhaps flies. If renters continue to remain 'stupid', they can move so you can have intelligent people move into your place.

Your bushes, your property.
