iPod wont turn off?

I have a 30GB ipod, and it wont turn off..no matter what I do, it just wont work, so I have to just let the battery die everyday...anyone have any siggestions?

there isn't much you can do other than if you do get it inot sleep mode, activate the hold setting so it won't come back on.

sorry, it isnt much, but thats all you really can do... ive tried resetting it, restarting it, etc.

Press the Menu button and the center round button at the same time for 5 seconds. This will reset your iPod- you'll see an Apple icon (but you'll lose no info) and hopefully fix any glitches.
