The age isn't, but unless you're text messaging on a phone, you should put a higher priority on learning and using the difference among two, to, and too. Precision is a good habit to develop, and it'll spill over into ballroom dance as well as more important aspects of your later life.

NO! There are many very good dancers who are even younger. Never to young or two old to learn!
One of the Pro's on Dancing with the Stars last season was only 18! She already had years of training, obviously.

No, not too young at all. Many kids start at 6 or 7 years old. Read the bios of some professional dancers on wikipedia - most of them started at age 6.

no way you should do what you love if you love ballroom dancing good for you! and have fun doing it if it makes you happy

No way. If you love the passion of dancing, you should do whatever it takes. No matter how old you are.
