Ya you can say that Allan Houston didn't come back from it. But he wasn't nearly as young as Oden is. But now I see Portland getting 1-6 pick in next years draft. If they are smart they will draft another center. Becuase they only have Lamarcus Aldridge, Joel Pryzbilla, and maybe Fry. But if Oden comes back from this TRADE HIM for a good Point guard or Small Forward. What do you think?

i like ur idea ;) i think oden'll come back...maybe by the end of the next season he'll be 100%...u never know...

yes oden will come back from surgery. kidd and amare did so why cant oden? technology is so good now, that he will probably be back to what he used to be in a short amount of time. and no they shouldnt trade oden for a PG or SF because they will likely be picking in the top 5 or so and they can land a good PG or SF then because guys like mayo, buddinger, batum, beasley, rose, collison, gordon, etc... will be coming out next year.
besides when penny and houston had microfracture, technology wasnt as good back then as it is now. so it made sense that they didnt come back quickly.

Actually it took Amare a whole year to get back and with Odens body its gonna take even longer. Out of all the reports, it does look like that he will. He has a good work ethic and wants to play so I give him 6 awesome years after that he will wane out.

Oden's surgery is a lot more minor than Stoudemire's. He'll be fine; he might even start the season.
