I was frustrated when I saw pyro was easily defeated by iceman inthe x-men 3 film.. If pyro could 'flame on' his body, he and iceman will probably tie in their final fight.. Also, both of them didn't put a great fight.. I was hoping for a great fight..

I also think it is because Pyro hasn't been practicing enough. (Them bad guys are always slackers!) Iceman only "chilled out" for the first time after he was pushed to his limits.

I don't think Pyro would be able to F'ing destroy Human Torch because Human Torch's flame is a constant source. More or less, Pyro would just be able to use his source of fire as a weapon because if the Human Torch is already combusted in flames, how can he be injured? My question is can Pyro withstand being engulfed in flames? If not, then the Human Torch could kick his a$$.

Pyro never could "flame on", check the comic books. He could only control fire not produce it.

he can control flames by pyrokinesis but he can't produce fire. thats why he wears that apparatus that starts flames.
and in x-men 2 he used his lucky lighter!
