I have the same question others are asking:

Since your question has absolutely *NOTHING* to do with evolution, why do you address this to 'evolutionists'??

The answer to your question is the big bang theory ... which is a theory of Astrophysics ... and if your science education is such that you don't understand the difference between Astrophysics and Biology, then how on earth are you going to understand the big bang ... *or* evolution for that matter?

Your question is neither simple, nor for evolutionists. I entertain two main possibilities. First, time (and perhaps space) were part of the creative act of creating the universe. Second, time did not originate, but proceeds continuously.

Perhaps you should be honest and state your agenda.

Why is this a question for evolutionists?!? It's not like it'll debunk evolution. The question (and answer) to the origin of time is inconsequential to the evolutionist's mindset and theories.

What does this have to do with evolutionists?

That's like saying, I have a question for biologists.?
I have a very simple question; what is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

All joking aside, this is more of a cosmology or philosophy question than one involving evolution.

Urm, time is just our word for the passage of events. It's not some force that exists, it's just what we call it.
