I have a message when I load my settings which reads: "Error Loading C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS#1\bar\4.bin\MWSBAR.DLL

I am positive that this is the problem with my loss of sound as I have tried everything with the drivers and volume control and sound settings etc (see my last question) but to no avail. All help much appreciated. thankyou.

This is a website toolbar error this as nothing to do with you losing your sound. Go into your hardware options and see if the audio as been muted this can sometimes happen for no apparent reason. Also check that the drivers are installed if your sound is ghosted out then you will need to re-install the drivers mate.

The error is with the My Web Search Toolbar....If wanted you may need to uninstall and reinstall...

Not sure where to find your last question...But for sound issues....

***The audio service may not be started***

Go to Start>> Run>> type in services.msc. A window will pop up with a list of services. Scroll down to Windows Audio>> Right-click>>Properties.

Make sure that 'Startup' is set to automatic. Click Apply and okay...Now check the startup status under services..Make sure it says started. If not look to the left and click start service...

Sounds like a problem with mysearch toolbar. What you could try to do is install it again or deleting your temporary files see if that does the trick.
