And is it supposed to be runny like water? I let my tiles and grout dry for about 3 days and when I opened the bottle of grout sealer, I was shocked to see that it was very runny almost like water. Is it supposed to look like that? And how long does it need to dry between coats?

hi...the sealer is supposed to look like milk...so yes your on the right track....and generally rule of thumb is 24 hrs after you grout you should seal the tile and grout....if you choose to do another coat then wait another day to do a second coat...

With all due respect, and after installing multiple thousands of sq. ft. of tile, and not at all a FAN of sealers; Your issue, in part depends on the substrate the tile is installed over. Obviously an absorbent substrate would allow a faster dry/set/cure time, than concrete.

Unless you installed tile UNDER water, 30 days is unrealistic in dry/set/cure time. If it took that long it would degrade long before it ever cured.

The Sealer; depending on the manufacturer might be a variation of substances and consistencies, IE: Water/GEL. Did you notice settling in the bottle? Did you agitate the sealer at all?

Again, with no offense I cannot imagine that the BOTTLE came with no instruction/suggestions at all, regarding application methods, dry time, second application, if even neccesary, and all the disclaimers about don't ingest this product, etc.

As it happens; GROUT, even cured, is more absorbent than the tile, and even sealed will still need regular cleaning and RE-Sealing...hence my reason for NOT using it. It's also a tedious process not usually used by contractors.

I want to assume that you can TEST the dry factor after the first application. I also want to assume that any decent product is a ONE COAT application, but in any; if it takes longer to dry than the grout seemed to,,, I'd return it.

It is like water but it is too soon to apply the sealer. You want the grout to cure at least 30 days. You can apply the second coat of sealer in about three hours. You can run a box fan to speed of the sealer drying time.
