I seen you around lately and I'm sure not goin' to give you that info. I hate squirrels, especially the ones that steal my carrots. Take a hike! Damned stalkers!

My grandma used to go to the store several miles away and wouldn't even close the front door! We knew everyone that lived on the street though. I live in a nice neighborhood, and as soon as I walk out the door, it's locked behind me. My husband is a police officer. That could be the reason.

When I was young many people left their street door key on a piece of string in their letter boxes. But in those days there was little worth stealing in most peoples houses. Today there are many luxury items whicth can be stolen even from houses of people who are poor enough to receive benefits.
So it is essential that people lock their doors (as I do) if they are going to a point beyond which they can actually see it.

Only the garage which is under the building, where i can go to, without locking the door. Any other place i must lock it.

Don't bother to lock doors most of the time

To the mailbox which is about 25 feet from my front door! that is ashame isn't it I wish it was like the old days when you could sleep with your doors wide open!

I always lock the door immediately after I step out , not safe here , otherwise .

3 feet at the most and even then It's a stretch trying to lean over and lock it.

Anywhere really. There's a great big German Shepherd on the other side of my front door and he's what you might call "very keen".
