I'm sending a letter to Japan which is, I believe, $0.90. If I'm using the Liberty Bell Forever First-Class stamps, how many do I need?

Do I need 3 stamps? (I'm not sure what the difference is when buying a $0.41 stamp and a first-class stamp).

Thank You!

At one time, only stamps with monetary amounts were valid for international postage and "first class" stamps that did not indicate a specific number of cents were for domestic mail only. I am not sure if this is still the case.

The easiest thing to do is log on to usps.com and click on the link to send things overseas. It should ask you what you are sending and to where - and tell you exactly what you need.
