Cindy Sheehan is a coward. She is an insecure little twit that gets her jollies from the attention she gets from the media and other idiots like her. She has done nothing but spit on her sons memory and has screwed over her family, all in the name of getting attention. She is a pathetic waste of flesh. Laura Bush is a lady who also has her own opinion and does not need to destroy everyone around her in search of attention. Paris Hilton is just pathetic. I still don't know why she is famous other than for her name.

Cindy Sheehan started her public life quite tough and courageous, and I had no end of respect for her.

Then she allowed herself to be twisted from her original goal of getting a justification for the death of her son, and she became a 15 minutes of fame mouthpiece for the anti-war movement. At that point, I really think she ceased to be tough and courageous, and she became a puppet of a movement that she could not control.

It happens all the time. Paula Jones, Monica Lewinski are two very good examples. Used for political purposes, then tossed aside as soon as the movement was done with them.

So, to answer your question, YES, I believe that American women should be tough and courageous, and smart and brave enough to recognize when they are being used for someone else's goals.

Cindy Sheehan is courageous, and so are many other moms including many who disagree with her. Laura Bush publicly disagreed with Bush regarding gay marriage.

You seem to think the mark of courage is agreeing with your positions. I think there is courage on all sides of any difficult issue (otherwise the issue wouldn't be difficult).

So you want American moms to endorse socialism and openly support Chavez. You want American moms to so freaking left that Nancy Pelosi isn't left enough for them.

Whether you like it or not, not everyone agrees with your socialist agenda. Not everyone agrees with your defeatist attitude. Not everyone agrees that everything wrong in this world is due to American Exceptionalism. Not everyone agrees with Internationalism. Not everyone is a far left liberal.

So much for the party of tolerance.

There is one thing that makes a mother good, and that is how they respect their children once they have grown. Cindy did not respect her son's decision to join the military, no matter what her personal feelings were, she should have been proud of him.

Cindy Sheehan is not courageous. She is a publicity hound, exploiting what happened to her son. Disgraceful.

Are those are only choices? As much as I dislike this administration, I can't really say anything bad about Laura Bush.

Laura Bush is a kind loving woman that has to put up with a lot. Don't be mad at her because you didn't get enough hugs as a child.

Cindy HAS courage and I'm sick of those who would criticize her for the "I'm tired... bowing out speech". She was tired and is now back better than ever. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!
