Fed up with trolls, multiple account users, answers bashing, voting, thumbs ratings, and so on.
I have found a few forums where the members take their Q & As more seriously in regards to education and shared knowledge. There are no best answers, just blogs where a member can recipocated with others indefinetly. Thank you

I posted it in Languages and Reptiles because that is where I post most of my answers (my home on Yahoo Q & A)and have built up a good reptutation. I trust that some of the other Top Contributors that I croos paths with will give me straight forward advice. Got it?

Thanks Myst and to the other members who answered regardless of where I posted this question. I have two homes on here; one is 'Reptiles' and the other 'Languages'.
I was a Top Contributor in 'Reptiles' and lost that title when I became a 'Top Contributor for 'Languages' (guess you can't have two titles???)
Comparing to the other forums, yes now I can see from contrast that the members I encounter are quite civil.
I have made a lot of friends here, and I am well aware that they give me TUs, and skip the answer if they feel my answer is suffice (I do the same) I have done it many times for Madkin's answers and Myst's.
I never leave any of my Q & As to voting, as that is where multiple account holders or 'friends' vote for each other. Quite often the best voted answer (3 or 4 votes) is very weak in comparison to the 8 to 15 other answers that were very thorough and accurate but didn't receive any votes. (HMMM). I want people to see my Q & A so that they can see I'm legit.

I won't say that I'm that new to this but I've hung around enough to get somewhat frustrated with this too.
It seems as if people have nothing better to do than to just give all answers thumbs down. I thought this place was to give factual answers and allowed to give your opinion, why should i give you thumbs down for your opinion?
I recently posted a question and the "jumping to conclusion" and insults i got was amazing, i cant believe the negativity out there.
Thankfully i don't take this too personally and yes thanks to all those who did put time and effort into their genuine answers.
And thanks to all those that skipped answering rather that saying something silly.
As I've said I haven't been around long enough to get to know you but by this I know you will be missed.
Thanks for being real.

Grooved don't leave... Why? The higher you get in points the harder it gets as people target those ones.....I notice the thumbs downs too and I don't let it bother me anymore....If someone sees a good answer they will pick it!!!!
You are not one to copy and paste like alot do....you answer question with your own words and knowledge....
Most people would actually get the real advise from a vet or doctor, I know I would!....Yahoo answers does help alot...you and I both know this...
If you are serious about this which I hope you are not, I would try and email them somehow.....
My word don't do this! Just set you profile to private.....
I frequent the wrestling forum alot and man oh man....they bash in there big time, I just sit back and laugh at it now....
Except for when they make fun of dead people..that bothers me!

To bad... You were a good member well i am not to sure maybe just don't use answers. Have Fun. Thank you to the people who really see here in the reptiles boards that this is are "home". Come on stay around.. You are right thought answers really has its cons but still it has its pros right? right?.

I couldn't agree more. This forum is primarily designed for teenagers. Yahoo knows which side it's bread is buttered. They eliminated the discussion boards at end of each story and came up with this Q & A. They claimed to be revamping the discussion boards so more people could get invovled. Well, they lied. I'm done with this myself.

I'm pretty sick of the rateings thing myself.People are immature and biased in several sections here,not to mention illdisposed.
