I'm going in Nov and the best deal I found was booking separately. We're staying at NYNY and we're booking directly through them for a promotional rate that includes a room upgrade. Then we're using Southwest and got a flight out for $56 each way out of Phoenix. Overall we're spending less than $300 a person for 2 nights and round trip airfare.
I would suggest doing a lot of research to find out which way would be best for you. Try all the travel sites as well as all the airlines and check out Luxor's website for any deals.
Have fun!

Check out your local travel agents. It is a dying profession (thanks to the internet), but my last 6 trips have been booked through the same travel agent. This past fall, the best deal I found on the internet was to stay at Imperial Palace on a flight with a layover. For the same price, my travel agent got us a room at Planet Hollywood/Alladin on a non-stop flight.
Make sure to find a travel agent who specializes in Vegas trips. They will sometimes advertise them as 'junkets'. The travel agent buys a book of seats on a plane and a book of rooms in a hotel. They get a big quantity discount and pass the savings onto the customers. They may be the cheapest way to go. But not always, also check for internet deals (do not confuse this with junkets intended for high rollers. Those trips are very cheap simply because you gamble so much).

huh? you can't find a good deal, where do u live, Siberia?
First off, if you are trying to go real low budget check out PrimmValleyresorts.com it's approx. 40 minutes from the strip but it costs like $35.00 a night and then contact me to buy an entertainment book from Vegas for $20.00 and you will find two for one coupons and everything else in there. Rental car discounts, everything. please feel free to hit me up, and let me know if you need the entertainment book. You can check it out on Entertainmentguide.com, but don't buy it there buy it from me because all the proceeds go to a very good cause, (the money is not for me, I promise.) thanx.
Oh and if by chance you win a million dollars when u are visiting Vegas hit me up and tip me. LOL
Good luck

Try http://www.ytb.com/pcflo43 they have flight + hotel deals with different airlines and hotels. They also have tickets for shows and attractions with prices, schedules, etc. If you buy everything in advance you will have more control on the amount of money you want to spend. Check also their Weekend Specials to Las Vegas from your nearest airport.

www.vegas.com It's USAirways vacations, and if you're coming from the East Coast, pretty much the cheapest deal if you don't have the time or patience to watch airfare rates.

If you have Allegiant airlines check with them. Southwest is another good airline.
Take time to check all of your local carriers websites, they may offer deals.
Also try vegas.com, travelocity, orbitz.
Luxor is a great place to stay. I have stayed there a couple of times just ask for a room high up so you have a great view.
