How can you identify Canada without separating it from north america if u were to draw a map?

hint: colouring canada in a different colour will still separate it*

Here are some ideas but I don't know if it is what you want.

You could identify without separating it by saying it is the most northern country in North America, or it is north of the 49th parallel and the Great Lakes-St.Lawrence Seaway (like the boundaries. You could also identify it by give the most northerly and southerly latitude as well as the western and eastern longitudes. Perhaps you could identify it by just pointing out that is the country north of the United States.

there are no ways you can indentify without separating it. BUT, if your reader have knowledge on the location of Canada, let say on world map, his/her mind will automatically draw rough invisible boundry.

Gee, maybe you could put a label on it that says "Canada."

And, no, coloring it will not "separate" it. It doesn't matter what color you make it, it's still part of North America. (That's what they do in atlases.)

Frankly, it's difficult to know what you are asking for...folks here don't know what your teacher is expecting from you.

I would write "CANADA" across the map of Canada.
