If you use ATMs to get your money, you will get the money of the country you are at that moment.
But the money you have already you will need to change yourself.

You might not even notice the borders till you notice that the texts on the shops are in a different language and that the prices are shown with a different name.

Mostly the shops in the first town after you crossed the border will take the other currency, but that is always at a rate that is best for them, not for you. Unless you have a handful of change, better go to the exchange office. (The ones that claim to charge no fee have poorer rates but might work out better for small amounts.)

Do not take a lot of money across the border into a country with a different currency, as you will loose twice on the exchange.

To convert money anywhere, you will have to visit a shop or kiosk that converts money or just go to a bank. Most banks can change currency with no problem.
