ok I just found one of my really good friends that I last contact with died. she has 2 little kids, one 5 and one 6. How or where can I find out what happened to them or where they are?? we all live in daytona beach florida. I tried the web site of DCF but didnt find anything good. I'm definatly going to cal. I want take full custody of both of them if I can. I love them so much. I babysat them all the time they loved me and I love them. This is so heart breaking. they have no immidiate family. thay have family in new york. but what do you think the chances of them some how going to new york are? please help

First off find out where the two children are.
See how they are doing.
More than likely they went to live with family in New York.
If not then they could have been placed in Foster Homes and or Adopted.
The only thing I can think of is to find out where she (Your friend) was living and where she died. Contact the police dept for more Info on the children, being that you are not family, more than likely you will not be able to get any information.
You may need to hire a Private Investigator.
