I considered the Salvation Army, but I have known people in the past that take advantage of this program. I'm sure there is another oranization that does Adopt-a-Family??

Did you try the local DHS office? In college, we ran an Angel Tree Program through DHS. Also, most local schools will have some kind of gift drive for students who are struggling and then churches are always providing for the needy during the holidays. I'm sure any church in the area would give you the information on a family that could use a blessing at Christmas time. I appreciate your giving heart!

Contact the Salvation Army in your local.. I believe they are the ones responsible for Adopt a Family. Good Luck and God Bless you.

Go to you local library and ask around. Or go to an information point. There'll be some one at your city hall also, who knows these details.

If not try a national one like http://www.crisisshield.org/Adopt-a-Family.shtml

It's a very worthy cause.

GOOD ON YOU!! And good luck and happy holidays x
