Patrick Kane turns 19 in November, Staal turns 19 in September, Toews turned 19 in April...there may be younger players, but doubtful they'll stay in the NHL this year.

There are alot of 19 year old players making their debut in 07-08. Erik Johnson (1 overall pick 2006 Draft by St. Loius) is making his debut. Sanguinetti (Rangers pick) is also said to make his debut, And some say Kyle Turris will make his debut (aged 18), so I guess Turris would be the youngest.

Patrick Kane is the only 18 yr old expected to make a roster this year.

As far as Kyle Turris...........he is ineligible to play in the NHL until January as he has already enrolled as freshman at Wisconsin

Going to have to wait to see if any of this years draft class makes the jump to the NHL. My guess, would be Jakub Voracek for the Blue Jackets.
