I had a vasectomy about 5 months ago and several times now have had this aching feeling in my left testicle. This morning I woke up and it was hurting again. There were no complications immediately after the operation so I really dont know what is going on down there. Its not swollen or anything. Just very sensitive to any kind of jolt or pressure, even just walking is slightly painful and quite uncomfortable. Anyone else have this kind of thing happen?

You don't mention how long after your vasectomy your pain began. If you have had this intermittent pain since shortly after your vasectomy you may have a recurring or chronic infection in your scrotum. There are other causes as well including inflammation of your testicles or related parts which may not be related to your vasectomy but merely coincidental. After this length of time it is time to consult a physician.

I would think if you did anything like lifting to cause it, if not go back for a followup visit and get it checked out, also have a sample checked to make sure you are free from the little guys.

The statement by Buddy Love is so completely off the mark it would not even qualify as a joke.

PVPS (Post Vasectomy Pain Syndrome) is caused by not following the doctors instructions.

It comes & goes, it cant be due to infection. Get a check up. I don think it is related to operation.
