ok Claudia-- Is it (18x)^4 or 18*x^4? and is it (6x)^5 or 6*x^5? I'll do it both ways. 1. (18x)^4*y^-3*z^2/(6x)^5*y^2*z 2. 18^4*x^4*z^2/6^5*x^5*y^5*z 3. 6^4*3^4*x^4*z^2/6^5*x^5*y^5*z. Now cancelling what you can you get Answer = 27z/2xy^5 The other way. 1. 18*x^4*y^-3*z^2/6*x^5*y^2*z 2, 18*x^4*z^2/6*x^5*y^5*z 3. Now cancelling what you can you get Answer = 3z/xy^5
